The mortgage application was submitted to Barclays and “represents all the hard work” from L&C Mortgages colleagues for over 25 years.
The broker firm is celebrating this milestone by calling on customers to share stories on how advice they received has benefitted their lives, and one story will receive a prize equal to three monthly mortgage payments.
A team from L&C Mortgages will participate in the Circuit of Bath walk, with the aim of collectively hitting one million steps. The funds will go to Julian House, a charity providing support to vulnerable people experiencing homelessness.

“However, we’re acutely aware that the advice that L&C colleagues give to customers each day carries meaning far beyond the big numbers. It’s the impact that it has on those customers and their lives, whether it’s making homeownership a reality or by cutting the biggest monthly household bill by hundreds of pounds.
