Almond was previously compliance director at intermediary network, HLPartnership, for three years and has around 30 years’ industry experience. He began his career with The Prudential, then moved on to sales roles with Liverpool Victoria, Wesleyan General, Mortgage Next and MGM Assurance. He also ran his own brokerage company.
Almond will replace Nuala Wheeldon who will be taking up a new project.
Fluent Money said Wheeldon would be a “hard act to follow” but that Almond was well equipped for the role.
