Shawbrook Bank has appointed Paddy Fermor as commercial director, joining from Post Office Money.

This appointment aims at boosting Shawbrook’s residential mortgages senior line-up, following the recent appointment of David Robinson as sales and distribution director.

In his new role, Fermor will support managing director Jeremy Law in setting, developing and implementing the strategic direction of the business, driving forward its plans for transformation.

Prior to his experience at Post Office Money, Fermor worked at Help for Heroes, Deloitte Consulting and Barclays.

Jeremy Law said: “Paddy’s wealth of knowledge and expertise will be a huge asset to the residential mortgages team and I am excited to work with him to push forward our ambitious change agenda.”
