United Trust Bank appoints Avison Warren as mortgage operations manager

Warren (pictured) will work with Buster Tolfree and the mortgage team’s senior management as UTB said that it is getting ready for considerable growth and expansion of its activities in the mortgage sector.

He joins from Accord Mortgages where he worked as operations manager for lending shared services, and was responsible for the new lending department.

As part of the newly created role Warren also process improvements within the bank’s introducer-led proposition.

Buster Tolfree, UTB commercial director of mortgages, said Warren brings a great deal of real-world experience in delivering significant IT and change projects in a high growth mortgage business.

“His skills and knowledge make him a valuable addition to the team,” he said and would enable the lender to move its mortgage business “up to the next level” .

“We are investing in great people and creating cutting edge digital solutions to enable us to continuously improve our offering to brokers and customers,” Tolfree continued.
