MT Finance promotes bridging team; Bridging Finance Solutions makes three hires – round-up
MT Finance has promoted five people within its regulated bridging team as part of the lender’s expansion.

Raphael Benggio (pictured, middle) has been promoted from head of regulated underwriting to head of lending – bridging finance and Ayondip Dam (pictured, far right) has been appointed to the role of head of regulated underwriting. Dam was previously an underwriter.

Both Sarah Parsons (pictured, middle left) and David Kingham (pictured, far left) have moved up from the roles of underwriter to senior underwriter, while Emily Hatt (pictured, middle right) has been promoted from case manager to junior underwriter.

Joshua Elash, director and founder of MT Finance, said: “These promotions are in recognition of everything the regulated underwriting team has achieved over the past few years. We have highly talented, dedicated members of staff, and I’m delighted that their hard work has been rewarded.

“I am looking forward to seeing how Ayondip shapes his new role. Having joined in 2018, he has proved himself to be a highly capable team member and I have no doubt he will flourish as head of regulated underwriting. The new role of head of lending – bridging finance is sure to be complex and challenging, but I expect Raphael to take this in his stride and make it his own. This is an exciting time for the business and these promotions perfectly complement the company’s ambitions.”

Benggio said it was a privilege to have the directors’ backing and the opportunity to oversee the management of the lender’s bridging offering.

He added: “I intend to ensure our bridging proposition remains focused on delivering the quality of service we are known for, creating an efficient and seamless loan journey for clients, and maintaining a commercial attitude to our underwriting.”

Steve Barber, managing director of BFS, said: “Making these three new appointments will add real weight to the team. What we have is three highly experienced and knowledgeable individuals whose backgrounds are completely varied, meaning that they will bring very different strengths and attributes to the business.

“BFS continues to grow and the appointments that we make is pivotal to our continued success.
