Adam Tyler has joined Black & White as director of intermediaries.

Tyler has worked in commercial finance for more than 30 years, most recently setting up and running the Financial Intermediary & Brokers Association over the last five years. That followed 11 years heading up the National Association of Commercial Financial Brokers (NACFB).

While at FIBA, Tyler oversaw the launch of the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Finance (CPSP) qualification, which he will continue to monitor in his new role.

Tyler noted his background in specialist property, and said he was hoping to use his experience and contacts to help Black & White expand.

As a lender, Black & White has shown itself to be innovative and forward thinking and is destined to become one of the premier lenders in the industry,” he added.

Damien Druce, commercial director at Black & White, said that Tyler had “unparalleled knowledge” of the specialist market, which would be “invaluable in developing our proposition and taking it to the intermediary market”.
