Hope Capital bolsters team with promotions and hires
Specialist lender Hope Capital has made a series of hires and promotions to support its growth strategy.
This includes the promotion of Kim Parker from the role of business development executive to sales team manager. She will now lead the sales department and introduce new strategies to serve its brokers and borrowers.
David Weir has been promoted to business development manager (BDM) and will oversee all bridging finance in the North of England and Scotland.
Hope Capital has also appointed Jack Gardner as senior business development executive (BDE), as well as Callum Goulden and Michael Trafford as BDEs.
Within its underwriting team, Hope Capital has promoted Jon Reed to senior credit manager, previously senior development underwriter. In his new role, Reed will manage the lender’s credit functions.
Cheryl Smith has been appointed to the underwriting team as an underwriter.

Within its portfolio management team, Hope Capital has hired Mayo-Yemi Onafowokan and Sarah Matthews.
It has also promoted Emily Crowe as senior marketing and PR executive.
Hope: ‘Most successful period to date’
Hope Capital said the first half of 2023 was its most successful period to date, which prompted the hires.
