ABC appoints new BDM for Herts and Essex

Halsey joined the firm earlier this year as an internal BDM.

He has previously worked in business development for West One Loans and as a case manager for Enterprise Finance and First Union Mortgages.

In the new role, Halsey will be tasked with supporting brokers in the two counties who are looking to place bridging and development finance cases for both residential and commercial clients.

Halsey (pictured)  said he was looking forward to taking a more hands-on approach to helping brokers in the region, adding: “In my short time so far at Alternative Bridging, I have already seen how excellent the business is at developing its people and providing them with new opportunities to progress their careers.”

Phodis Maratheftis, head of sales for London & South East at ABC, said that Halsey’s “quick progression” was well deserved, as the lender had been impressed by his “dedication” to helping intermediaries find solutions for their clients.

He continued: “His new role will enable him to develop more new relationships and ensure that we are providing our brokers in this region with the best possible service.”

Earlier this month ABC lowered rates on its overdraft drawdown product.
