Zenzic Capital appoints Brown to head development finance division

He will focus on managing the lender’s residential development loan book and ensuring its offering suits its target client base.  

Brown has more than 20 years of experience in deal origination as well as sourcing and structuring transactions.  

He worked at the Irish Allied Bank for nearly four years as manager corporate banking, then went on to work at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as senior manager for two years. Brown was at Investec for eight and a half years as head of private client, property and corporate lending. 

He was also at Sancus as managing director of its Guernsey business for two years and worked as the head of lending at Capital Rise for nearly two years. 

Zenzic Capital launched in 2014 and offers finance to borrowers in the logistics, student accommodation, residential, hotels and leisure real estate sectors. Last year, it received multi-million pound funding from Shawbrook to support its growth. 

Easier this year, it launched a £500m UK purpose-built student accommodation strategy to invest in existing stock and the development of new assets.
