In the role, Briggs (pictured) will help develop specialist lending propositions and forge long-term intermediary relationships to support growth.
His areas of specialism include specialist commercial and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgage lending, as well as bridging and short-term finance.
Briggs was most recently intermediary sales director at Afin Bank, a role he held for around a year. Before that, he spent nearly four years at Together, most recently as head of intermediary sales.
Prior to that, he was national sales manager at Precise Mortgages for around seven years. Before that, he was head of business development at Evolution Money for a year.
