Specialist lender ModaMortgages has cut rates across its buy-to-let (BTL) range and selected LMS Panel Link as its conveyancing partner.

ModaMortgages’ two-year fixed rates start from 3.49% and five-year fixed rates begin from 4.94%.

The mortgage products are available to individual landlords, limited companies, those with small or large portfolios, first-time buyers and first-time landlords. There are also a variety of fee options.

ModaMortgages is offering brokers the chance to win £250 of John Lewis vouchers if they register before 28 February.

Darrell Walker, ModaMortgages’ director of sales and distribution, said: “These reduced rates give brokers even more choice and, when combined with our registration prize draw, offer them perfect reason to give us a try and discover why we’re the home of smarter, faster and simpler buy-to-let borrowing.”

The lender has also selected LMS Panel Link as its conveyancing partner, which will help “streamline the conveyancing process” for the lender and offer a “database of suitable firms that can work with each customer looking to take out a buy-to-let mortgage”.

LMS Panel Link will also provide bank account checks and due diligence, a speed-enhancing case instruction portal and electronic mortgage offers and valuation uploads.

Suzanne O’Connor, chief relationship officer at LMS, said: “The fact that ModaMortgages is trusting LMS is yet another vote of confidence that Panel Link is one of the best offerings on the market.

“The values of the brand are very much aligned with our own – finding the best possible way to serve the end customer and making the conveyancing journey as seamless as possible for all involved – so it’s a fantastic partnership for us and we’re looking forward to a long-term relationship.”

Andrew Arwas, managing director of mortgages at Chetwood Bank, added: “We’re on a mission to take the stress and complexity out of buy-to-let mortgages for brokers. Building on the immense experience and expertise of our team, working with LMS Panel Link will help us achieve this.

“Ultimately, ModaMortages and LMS are aligned in our desire to ensure the best possible journey for all stakeholders, and our smarter, faster, simpler approach will undoubtedly help the brokers we work with, and their buy-to-let clients. We look forward to working closely with the LMS team.”
