This week’s Star Letter goes to Sunjay Chauhan for his comment on: Lloyds and Halifax roll out video mortgage advice service
I disagree with you Adam…
The Three network was too early for the vast population and only taken up by early adopters. Since then Apple have been using Facetime for a number of years now. Given the circumstances, it can be very effective at times.
As for mortgages….
The internet has created a wave of consumers that don’t want to deal with other humans and would prefer to have a faceless transaction. I believe this is a halfway house which some consumers may prefer.
Obviously from my point of view I hope the banks roll this out nationally as it will only strengthen my offering.
Sunjay’s post was in response to a comment published by Adam Hosker:
You remember Three launching video calling and it was going to be the future? We are now are in 2016 and such a ‘feature’ is nowhere to be seen.
Clients tend not to want to do web cam advice, though we did offer it for a while it was never taken up. A lot more convenient to jump on the phone.
