Scottish Widows Bank appoints new MD

Mortgage SolutionsScottish Widows Bank has appointed Martin Fleming as its new managing director from today.
Previously, Fleming was director of motor operations and service management, consumer finance at Lloyds Banking Group.
Over the last 20 years, Fleming’s experience includes consultancy roles at AXA Insurance and Britannia Building Society, strategy, change and IT roles at Clerical Medical, retail strategy and finance director at RBS as well as chairman of RBS Independent Financial Services. He joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2013.
Fleming will be responsible for the day to day running of Scottish Widows Bank and, along with the rest of the Scottish Widows Bank Board, its future strategy.
He reports in to Mike Jones, managing director of intermediaries and specialist brands at Lloyds Banking Group, and previously also the MD of Scottish Widows Bank.
Fleming said: “Scottish Widows Bank is a great brand, with a committed team and a reputation for excellent products and service. I’m looking forward to the challenge, and leading it into the next stage of growth.”
