Tesco Bank has opened its full range of remortgage products to customers looking to exit the Help to Buy scheme.

This follows Tesco Bank’s new range of cashback remortgage products, including the £1,000 cashback range and capital raising of up to 95%, launched last week.

Customers currently on the Help to Buy scheme in England and Wales, and looking to fully repay the Help to Buy equity loan, will now be able to benefit from the full range of remortgage products on offer.

The move comes as the Help to Buy scheme reaches its fifth year and a number of borrowers will be looking to switch their mortgage provider.

Tesco Bank mortgage customers benefit from the bank’s commitment to outstanding customer service, competitive rates and the ability to collect Clubcard points on their monthly repayments.

Julian Hartley, director of mortgages, savings and loans (pictured), said: “As we reach the five year anniversary of Help to Buy, many borrowers are reaching the end of their interest free period.

“We are thrilled to be in a position to open our full range of remortgage products, including 95% LTV and those offering cashback, to those looking to move from the Help to Buy scheme.”
