Mortgage CRM platform Acre has rebranded to be called Score, months after being acquired by credit scoring company ClearScore.

Acre said this was the next step in its evolution and would speed up ClearScore’s expansion into the mortgage market.

The CRM’s technology roadmap has been accelerated since the acquisition to include features powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and an integration with ClearScore’s mortgage brokerage subsidiary, ClearScore Home Lending.

Score will be able to deliver technology to mortgage and protection firms faster, supported by ClearScore’s proprietary data and insights, to drive leads and improve the home buying experience for the group’s 16-and-a-half million UK customers.

Justus Brown, founder and managing director of Acre, said: “This is an exciting time for our business and for our users as well. The backing of the ClearScore Group means we can draw on its financial firepower, AI expertise and huge UK consumer base to accelerate our roadmap.

“While our users will see no change to the day-to-day in the service they receive, by bringing our brand in line with the wider ClearScore Group reflects our shared mission to simplify the mortgage journey for everyone and power change in consumers’ financial lives.”

Brian Cole, CFO at The ClearScore Group, said: “Score is an exceptional business that brokers across the country use to service hundreds of thousands of people in preparing and selecting their mortgage. It now integrates with ClearScore Home Lending and sits alongside our other B2B platform, D.One, in powering borrowing and home lending for millions of people.

“As the group accelerates its expansion into mortgages, we are building a suite of technology platforms powered by user-permissioned data that offer best-in-class service to borrowers, lenders and brokers.”
