TrigoldCrystal has enhanced the two-way data transfer between its sourcing system and Paymentshield’s Inertia software, which supports the sale of the firm’s general insurance products.

All documents produced in Inertia will now be “automatically and seamlessly” returned to Prospector and saved as a part of the client file for compliance and TCF purposes. TriglodCrystal said the enhancement will further support advisers in generating extra income through the new, indicative quote process to introduce general insurance products.

David Aylmer, marketing director at TrigoldCrystal, said the development would offer advisors a tremendous benefit in streamlining and supporting their compliance process.

He explained: “We have enhanced the integration and our Prospector sourcing system to support the insurance sales process specifically in the area of documentation. During the sales process, crucial documents including the application form, the statement of price, the IDD and the statement of demands and needs will all automatically be returned to Prospector.”

Ian Halley, key accounts director at Paymentshield, said it had worked closely with TrigoldCrystal to ensure that brokers could quickly and simply build the sale of general insurance products into their sales process.

“There is obviously a huge responsibility for brokers to ensure that their clients’ mortgage and home is fully protected and this development means that the overall sales process is simplified which means that brokers can spend more quality time with their clients.”
