Abbey for Intermediaries (AFI) has announced it is to cut rates on a pair of two-year fixed-rate deals.

The lender has reduced its 70% LTV two-year deal from 2.99% to 2.89%, available for house purchase and remortgage deals.

Abbey has also cut its 60% LTV product to 2.69%, available for all key accounts to homebuyers and remortgagers.

Fees of £995 fee apply to both products. Free standard valuations and £250 cashback are also available through Abbey’s homebuyer and remortgage solution packages.

Miguel Sard, managing director of Abbey for Intermediaries, said: “Two-year fixed rate deals remain very popular with intermediaries and their clients and we are pleased to enhance our range with further rate cuts.

“These products come with the additional benefit of the Homebuyer or Remortgage Solution, and with our Key Account exclusive available to more than 95 per cent of the intermediary market, we expect there to be strong demand for these great deals.”
