The advert from The Cambridge is targeted to show how much it values the contribution that intermediaries make to the society when they introduce customers to its range of mortgage products by mentioning them in the call to action at the end of the ad.
The ad will be shown in screenings in 15 cinemas across East Anglia for the eight week campaign.
Kathy Bowes, intermediary manager at The Cambridge said: “Our new advertising campaign directs customers to speak to their local intermediary. We recognise that we wouldn’t have achieved our successes without their support.
“We understand that it takes time for intermediaries to assess their customers’ mortgage needs and we are fully committed to giving them as much support as possible. That’s why viewers of our advert are now being sent to intermediaries for independent mortgage advice.”
The Sky TV ad will only appear on screens in households that have been defined as the target audience for The Cambridge.
Carole Charter, head of marketing, said: “We’re delighted to be promoting The Cambridge and the strong partnership we have with intermediaries across the region.”
She added: “This is the first time we’ve ventured into cinema advertising, but I’m confident that the messaging and tone of the advert will appeal to our target audience.”
The advert will be shown in Bedford, Braintree, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Harlow, Huntingdonshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, South Cambridgeshire, St Albans, Stevenage and Watford, as well as 15 cinemas in the same locations, together with Borehamwood, Huntingdon, Hatfield, Haverhill and St Neots.
