Tesco Bank confirms mortgage lending spike to £2.5bn since broker launch – video part one
Just over a year since intermediary launch, Tesco Bank has confirmed mortgage lending of £2.5bn as it marks its first full-year of wider distribution.

The mortgage lender launched through mortgage advisers for the first time in April 2016 and held a London event to brief the market and give a fuller picture of its service and broker proposition.

Paul Shearman, proposition director at Openwork said: “The challenger banks have a huge amount to bring to the market including additional choice,  competitiveness and ‘fresh-thinking’

Tesco Bank has also announced the addition of PTFS to its intermediary panel today, extending it to 21 broker firms, and the lender said it expects to widen the panel in the coming months.
