Accord sends 30,000th welcome hamper on behalf of brokers
Accord Mortgages has sent its 30,000th welcome box to a customer on behalf of their broker taking out a mortgage with the lender.

The complimentary hampers, which include two mugs, tea and coffee and sweet treats, are sent on behalf of brokers to any first-time buyer or home mover who completes a mortgage with Accord.

The lender has sent boxes on behalf of more than 8,500 brokers since the initiative began in September 2016.

A special edition hamper containing a selection of luxury products was presented to Carter Lee Financial Services by Michael Clarke, Accord business development manager for South Wales and Bristol, to mark the 30,000 milestone.

Lee Saunders director of Carter Lee Financial Services said: “We have seen first-hand how Accord looks for ways to support brokers and the hamper gifts are one way of helping us improve our ongoing relationship with clients.”

Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediary distribution at Accord Mortgages (pictured), said: “The feedback for the welcome boxes has been really positive since we launched them. The key thing for us is that the hamper comes from the broker and not from Accord, strengthening the relationship between broker and customer.

“We’re always looking for innovative ways to support intermediaries, whether through our Growth Series, the Accord Client Hub or delivering gifts to help brokers celebrate the purchase of a new home with their client.”
