The Mortgage Store adds franchise programme to portfolio – exclusive
The Mortgage Store has launched a franchise programme as it seeks to expand its brand as a mortgage adviser, its nationwide geographic coverage and broker numbers.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in the mortgage and insurance market The Mortgage Store plans to use the franchise bid to add to its team of employed and self-employed mortgage advisers.

The broker launched in 2003 and is a multiple-award winning member of the Mortgage Intelligence network.

Director Mark Deane (pictured) said: “This is a significant milestone for our business. Our drive and passion for delivering the best customer service, products and services has been a direct result of years of investment in both systems, process and people and this passion and investment has now been carried forward into our approach for franchising. We are excited to attract highly motivated professionals to join The Mortgage Store and spread the word across the UK.”

The franchise opportunity has already appointed the first franchisee, Paul McLean in Bristol.

The franchise proposition

Franchisees will operate their own territory in a large geographic area. The Mortgage Store said it will actively assist and support its firms to grow sales revenues and work collaboratively with the firm.

The support begins during the recruitment process when the firm works with franchisees to enable them to put in place a realistic business plan including both revenue and expenditure forecasts and offers a comprehensive training programme.

Franchisees will also receive a branding and marketing package including a micro web site and lead generation programme.

Director James Kinns said: “We have created a franchise package based on all of the tried and tested systems in our operation and we are seeking to appoint highly motivated, entrepreneurial franchisees who can develop their territory to the maximum thereby enhancing their earnings capacity. Our support is key both in terms of getting our franchisees up and running.”
