Greg Cunnington has been appointed chief operating officer at London-based adviser Ldnfinance.

He joins from Alexander Hall where he worked for almost 15 years, most recently as director of relationships and new homes, and associate director prior to that.

A well-known figurehead in the industry, Cunnington will join co-chief executives Anthony Rose and Chris Oatway to bolster the senior leadership team.

Ldnfinance said Cunnington’s wide-ranging product knowledge and network of extensive, well-founded relationships will be invaluable to the firm.

The appointment follows Ldnfinance’s rebrand at the end of 2021 and marks a period of sharp growth for the brokerage. There have been five additional appointments at the firm since the beginning of the year, including four new advisers and Emily Gates as head of new business.

An independent mortgage adviser with 20 brokers, Ldnfinance was established in 2017 to bring together specialists in all areas of property finance.

The firm offers high value and residential mortgages, as well as specialist finance and protection solutions.

Cunnington said: “I’m thrilled to be starting a new chapter with Ldnfinance as a significant person within the business. I’m excited to take on a new challenge and look forward to applying my knowledge first hand to help expand and grow the business.

“As a multi award-winning firm, I look forward to being part of the firm’s high calibre team.”

Anthony Rose added: “Greg will bring valuable expertise and experience to the business as we further bolster our senior leadership team with his appointment.

“He has a strong track record of strategic leadership and operational activities. His expertise will help us to expand our lender reach and enhance our service capabilities to new and returning clients.”
