Mortgage Intelligence and Uinsure build on partnership to promote insurance
Mortgage and insurance network and club Mortgage Intelligence and technology company Uinsure have strengthened their partnership with new products, services and digital tools in a bid to make general insurance part of its service to customers.

As part of the augmented partnership both will launch a campaign to encourage advisers to discuss insurance with every client.

Firms can choose to advise customers on general insurance or refer to Uinsure, dependent on the insurance type.

Network and club members will be able to access home, buy-to-let, commercial and non-standard insurance products. They can also refer more complex commercial insurances through Uinsure’s digital platform.

Advisers are being urged to expand their offerings as they can cater for more clients needs on an advised or referred basis.

Uinsure said that these product journeys were “time-consuming” for advisers but the platform delivery “simplified, intuitive, and digitised journeys”.

Lauren Bagley, Unisure’s chief partnership and marketing officer, said: “We are intent on enabling advisory businesses to add value to clients by addressing their insurance needs.

Sally Laker, Mortgage Intelligence’s managing director, said: “We are delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Uinsure. We are passionate about insurance at Mortgage Intelligence – and our new campaign and training programmes will help to reinvigorate the insurance conversation.”

In April, Mortgage Solutions reported that Mortgage Intelligence had teamed up with fintech firm Mortgage Brain to create cloud-based sourcing system, Sourcing Brain.
