Mortgage and insurance network Connect for Intermediaries has appointed Tom White as its relationship manager for the South.
White will work with brokers in the region, which includes Appointed Representatives and brokers using the firm’s packaging and referral services.
He has worked in the industry for around eight years and joins from Assured Financial Group and before that worked at Dynamo and Neilson Place.
The company said that the appointment came as it looked to “expand its operations and provide even higher levels of service to its clients”.
Connect recently promoted Emma Roberts to head of intermediary relationships and has hired Alan Baldwin, Adrian Boxhall and Jim Selley to its leadership team.
Roberts said: “Tom’s wealth of experience as a broker himself puts him in an ideal position to support our network members, particularly in areas of education and growth.
“As we execute our ambitious growth plans, we are confident that Tom will be an invaluable addition to our team.”
White added: “I am truly excited to join the Connect team in this pivotal role. Connect has an impressive reputation in the sector, and I am looking forward to using my experience to support our brokers and contribute to the company’s ongoing growth.
“It is a unique opportunity to bring together my skills and experience in a way that can make a real difference.”
