Mortgage brokerage LDN Finance has launched a later life lending service in an extension to its advice offering.
The division will be headed by equity release adviser Darren Johncock and will sit alongside its existing services including residential, specialist, protection insurance and its recently launched subsidiary brand LDN Private Clients.
Johncock was hired to the team in May and he will provide later life borrowing and equity release advice to clients aged 50 and over.
Anthony Rose, co-CEO of LDN Finance, said: “We are very excited to be launching this department following an increase in client demand for later life lending solutions. By expanding our product offering, we are able to service the needs of clients across all areas of the market.
“Later life lending is a natural growth step for us and we’re thrilled to be launching this new pillar at a time when demand is high.”
Johncock (pictured) added: “Spearheading the department that will expand LDN’s current product offering is extremely exciting. Later life lending is a growing portion of the mortgage sector and I’m proud to be part of the team shaping this expansion.”
