Changes have been made by high street lenders but also building societies and specialist lenders, meaning that a wide cross-section of borrowers could borrow more.
However, what about customers who have previously been rejected? Are they aware of changes that have come through and will they improve their borrowing ability?
Some brokers have told Mortgage Solutions that they are using affordability and stress test changes to proactively reach out to customers who they previously have not been able to help.
Consequently, Mortgage Solutions wants to get a better idea of how brokers are talking to their customers about such changes and whether they are being used as an opportunity to reach out to customers who may have been declined previously.
