The Mortgage and Protection Event 2018 (TMPE) kicked off at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
Delegates were given a focused agenda covering the key market issues with practical advice to help grow and improve business.
Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediaries at Accord Mortgages, spoke about what makes a great mortgage broker with tips, such as generating new leads from existing clients and how to encourage customers to review their service.
Attendees were also able to visit lenders exhibiting at the event, and network with fellow advisers over breakfast, the mid-morning break and lunch.
Registration is still open for TMPE 2018 in Southampton, which takes place on November 14 and in London on November 15.
