Signature Private Finance appoints BoI underwriter as lending manager
Short-term lender Signature Private Finance has appointment a new lending manager, formerly a Bank of Ireland (BoI) mortgage underwriter, to its senior team.

Trevor Melly (pictured), prior to working at BoI, was account relationship manager in the corporate real estate team at Mizrahi Tefahot Bank.

Melly will be responsible for assessing and approving property finance applications.

Speaking of his appointment, Melly said: “It’s a good time to join Signature. It’s provides business finance for both new investors and seasoned property professionals.

“I was attracted not only by their determination to grow the business, but the obvious potential within their clearly defined market, working with property investors and finance brokers at time when access to traditional funding sources remains difficult.”

Signature interim CEO Tony Gilbertson said: “This is another great appointment for us, which strengthens our team considerably.

“Trevor combines strong analytical skills with sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to underwriting mortgage applications, within our approved lending mandate.”

Signature Private Finance, which serves clients throughout England and Wales, is backed by private equity funding.
