Kent Reliance appoints national account manager
Specialist lender Kent Reliance has appointed Emily Machin as national account manager to look after broker partners and intermediaries across the UK.

Machin joins from TSB where she held a similar function. In her new role she will be tasked with building commercial partnerships with the lender’s key distributors.

She will work alongside account managers Becki Fraser and Scott Phillips as part of the team managing corporate partners.

The hire follows a number of recent appointments at Kent Reliance, including four senior business development managers in May, in a move to extend its reach across the UK.

In June the lender, which is part of the OneSavings Bank group, joined the panel of broker network Openwork to provide access to specialist buy-to-let and shared ownership products.

OneSavings Bank sales director Adrian Moloney (pictured) said: “The expansion of our distribution, in particular the addition of Openwork, Mortgage Intelligence and Paradigm to our panel this year, has been a key part of our strategy in 2016.

“Our specialist proposition now reaches nationwide and it is essential that we recruit the right calibre of mortgage professional to manage strategic relationships with our key partners. Emily’s hire is another step in this direction.”

Machin previously also held roles at Virgin Money and Chelsea Building Society.
