LendInvest joins Home Builders Federation
Specialist short-term and development finance provider LendInvest has joined the Home Builders Federation (HBF).

The specialist lender said collaboration with HBF was intended to ensure the government’s housing policy addressed challenges for SMEs in access to land, finance and skills.

HBF supports the LendInvest Property Development Academy.

LendInvest chief investment officer Ian Thomas (pictured) said becoming a member of the HBF would help it to support the growth of SME builders.

“There’s no silver bullet to solve the housing crisis, but by forging links of this kind we hope to drive momentum behind industry initiatives to increase sector skills, enhance the voice of the property sector and ultimately put more homes on British streets,” he added.

Home Builders Federation director of external affairs John Slaughter said that with an undersupply of homes in the UK, it would take partnership between of all parts of the home building industry to deliver the homes the country needed.
