HTB appoints new bridging business development manager
Ross Sheppard has been promoted to business development manager (BDM) for bridging by Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB).

Sheppard (pictured) has worked in the HTB development finance division for the last two years as a BDM.

In his new role, he will be tasked with managing the lender’s broker partners across primarily the Midlands and North of England. He will work closely with the Lorenzo Satchell, head of sales for bridging at HTB, to ensure that strategic targets are met with these partner brokers.

Satchell joined the lender as the new head of bridging lending at the start of 2023.

Satchell said that Sheppard brought a wealth of experience with his development background, and that the lender was focused on putting the right people in the right positions.

“The timing could never be better for Ross to join the bridging team in this period of growth,” he added.

Sheppard said that he wanted to help the bridging team “stamp the HTB brand” on the bridging market.

He added: “We’ve made a strong start so far, but with the team ever growing and our insatiable appetite for continued improvement and delivery, it won’t be long before our name becomes synonymous with bridging.”

The move comes after HTB promoted Mia House to BDM for bridging, focusing on the South East region, earlier this month.
