Together appoints Broadbent as personal finance chief executive
Specialist lender Together has brought on David Broadbent (pictured) as chief executive officer to lead its personal finance division.
He will join Together in March, subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority, and will manage all aspect of personal finance lending, with a total loan book of £6.6bn.
Broadbent takes over from Peter Ball who is leaving the firm after around seven years.
The lender offers first charge and consumer buy-to-let (CBTL) mortgages, second charge loans and regulated bridging finance, often for personal finance customers underserved by mainstream banks.
Broadbent previously worked at LendInvest as chief financial officer for nearly a year and before he was the founder and CFO at Bank North for nearly five years.
Before that, he worked at Fairpoint for nearly a year as chief financial officer and then as chief executive.
