Gibson will be based in London and bring his experience in development to Glenhawk’s lending and servicing teams, with the responsibility of enhancing the assessment process for new enquiries to determine project viability, as well as the ongoing monitoring of the construction and delivery phase.
He brings 35 years of experience working across the UK, working on the operational delivery of small- and large-scale residential and commercial development projects.
Gibson was most recently the construction director at self- and custom build developer, Graven Hill Village Development Company. Before this, he held senior roles at Taylor French Developments, Mears New Homes, Persimmon Homes and Higgins Construction. This included the delivery of projects such as affordable housing schemes and multimillion-pound regeneration projects in London and the home counties.
This year, Glenhawk increased its funding to £700m to support its real estate division.
Andrew Townsend, chief executive of Glenhawk, said: “Grant’s through-the-cycle track record and deep understanding of UK housing delivery means he is ideally placed to support the business in managing the growing loan book.
