Specialist lender Together has adopted nCino’s Banking Advisor platform to improve efficiency in its loan applications.

Together has been using nCino’s technology since 2024, when it was introduced to enhance its mortgage and lending proposition.

The Banking Advisor platform is nCino’s conversational interface, designed to streamline processes, improve decision-making and save time for Together.

Banking Advisor utilises large language model (LLM) insights to help employees understand data, assess risk and identify next steps. Employees can ‘chat’ or engage with documents, such as lending policies, training materials and market information, to draw out details without manual reading.

The platform has been designed to reduce human error and speed up turnaround times with faster responses and clearer communication.

It uses advanced artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and analytics to automate routine banking tasks, extract, display and interpret data to support lending decisions.

Andrea Dalton (pictured), chief transformation officer at Together, said: “By adopting Banking Advisor, we are strengthening our long‑standing ‘common‑sense’ approach to lending. Its new digital capabilities are designed to reduce turnaround times, by helping our colleagues to make quality decisions more quickly for our customers, without losing the human touch.

“It is an impressive tool [that] we will be using to automate repetitive and time-consuming back-office activities, which had been previously carried out manually, including document classification and sorting, information retrieval and data analysis.”

She added: “This new platform will dramatically cut down the time needed to process applications through an intuitive interface, which will initially help our colleagues, allowing them to focus on higher-value work – ultimately improving experiences for customers and broker partners.”

Joaquín de Valenzuela, managing director of EMEA at nCino, said: “Banking Advisor gives lenders a single conversational interface to nCino’s agentic capabilities – taking the weight of repetitive, data-heavy tasks off their shoulders so Together’s teams can keep doing what they do best: finding ways to say yes for their customers.

“We look forward to seeing the impact this delivers for their colleagues, broker partners and customers alike.”
