This was a 62% annual growth in the value of business over 239 cases, a 130% year-on-year increase in the number of cases facilitated by the firm.
Word On The Street also posted a 75% jump in total revenue, which came to £1.8m.
The firm said it focused on its fundamentals despite the global economic uncertainty, continuing to serve clients, invest in its people and improve its operations.
It invested in a bespoke CRM platform, developed to suit the needs of its clients and team, while its team grew to nine colleagues.
Michael Street, founding partner at Word On The Street, said he was “immensely proud” of what the team achieved.

“The past 12 months have presented no shortage of challenges, yet we have never been distracted by external noise or comparisons with others. We have remained focused on what we can control: serving our clients, supporting one another and continually improving our business, and that discipline has delivered these results,” he added.
The cases completed by the firm comprised 130 buy-to-let (BTL), 82 bridging, 16 development finance and 11 commercial mortgage cases.
The average loan size of each case was £462,637.
Street said much of the firm’s growth came from BTL, adding that it was not surprising: “Landlords are facing more complexity than ever, and more of them want a specialist broker in their corner rather than going it alone. We’re seeing similar demand across bridging and development, and we expect all three to keep growing through the next financial year.
“With a growing team and the infrastructure behind them, we’re ready to meet that demand while staying true to how we do things. The foundations are stronger than ever, and we are excited for what comes next.”
