The Change Maker initiative, which has been running for around four years, recognises individuals delivering diversity and inclusion or sustainability initiatives to make the mortgage industry “fairer, more balanced, or more environmentally conscious”.
These initiatives will go beyond the individual’s everyday work and contribute positive change to the business, customers or the wider industry.
There is no list of finalists or eventual winner, but it looks to showcase initiatives that have been making an impact on people’s businesses or the wider mortgage industry in the last year.
Examples of previous Change Maker initiatives include lowering the carbon footprint of the business, the launch of bespoke services to widen accessibility for all customers, policies to encourage diversity in the workplace and flexible working patterns to foster a fair working environment.
To nominate yourself or an individual, there will need to be three reasons why you are nominating yourself or them and a short testimonial alongside that talks about the initiative.
