Sean Lock to headline British Mortgage Awards 2014
Comedian Sean Lock is to perform at the British Mortgage Awards 2014 in London next week.
Lock will perform a set at Mortgage Solutions’ annual event on Thursday 10 July at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel.
The former British Comedy Award winner is a familiar face to comedy fans as a team captain on Channel 4 panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats.
His other television appearances include QI, Have I Got News for You and Live at the Apollo while Lock has also released three bestselling stand-up DVDs.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow 8 Out of 10 Cats star Jimmy Carr, who performed at the ceremony last year. Other previous hosts have included Jo Brand and Jack Whitehall.
This year’s British Mortgage Awards has seen the implementation of a new judging process with some candidates undergoing a more rigorous selection process including face-to-face interviews with the judging panel.
