RDR debate date changed to 29 Nov
The date for the House of Commons debate on the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) has been changed to Monday 29 November following a request from the Labour party.

A full Parliamentary debate on the regulation had been scheduled for Tuesday 30 November.

The re-scheduling follows a change of diary request from Her Majesty’s Opposition, according to a parliamentary source.

A formal announcement of the new date will be made on Thursday.

Ministers will use the three-hour slot for a full debate on the RDR, including the issues of grandfathering and the appropriateness of exams.

The debate has been called by Tory MPs Harriet Baldwin and Mark Garnier.
