Bank of Ireland appoints two national account managers
Bank of Ireland has promoted Lauren Wiles and Andy Cooke to national account managers rising from business development managers.
The pair will focus on growing relationships with brokers in their new roles. They will report to Iain Smith, head of intermediaries (pictured), and work closely with national sales manager Alan Longhorn and his team.
Wiles served as a broker at Mortgage Advice Bureau before joining Bank of Ireland and Cooke was previously a financial adviser and self-employed mortgage broker.
They offer “strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges of today’s intermediary mortgage market,” the bank said.
Smith added: “Lauren and Andy have done a terrific job in recent years and I’m delighted to support their career development. Our distribution is growing as the mortgage market evolves. Feedback from our partners continues to be positive and these two hires will strengthen support for our wider network of brokers.”
