Lender Greenfield Mortgages has appointed Octane Capital’s head of networks and internal sales Richard Keen to manage its corporate and key and national key account functions.
In his role he will focus on developing relationships across the UK’s major intermediary distribution channels.
Keen’s property finance career spans 29 years, and he was most recently head of networks and internal sales at Octane Capital for just under a year.
Before that he worked at Precise Mortgages for nearly a decade, most recently as national sales manager for nearly five years and before that as head of accounts.
Prior to that he was head of intermediary development at The Loans Engine for around a year.
The firm has been lending since 2009 and operates through England and Wales. It lends across residential and commercial properties, with both regulated and unregulated loans available.
The company said that lending was originally funded through shareholders and went onto launch its first fund in Guernsey in 2011. It said its lending is a combination of institutional long term, committed funds under management and our own balance sheet
Keen said: “I am delighted to be joining Greenfield Mortgages and have an unrivaled reputation for service within their specialist sector”
John Yates, managing director of Greenfield Mortgages, added: “We are delighted to have someone of Richard’s experience on board at this exciting time for us as we have ambitious plans for the business over the coming months and years.”
