Just Mortgages hires five regional directors
National broker firm Just Mortgages has appointed five regional directors to support growth in its self-employed division.

Mark Ferneyhough and Jason Whiteley will aid brokers in the North, Ben Peart and Jon Taylor will offer support to the South and Preeti Ferrier will represent the Midlands.

Each will oversee up to four area directors or sales managers and a further 15 mortgage and protection advisers.

Ferneyhough has been with Just Mortgages for nearly three years, initially joining as area director. Before that, he was a mortgage broker at Mortgage Advice Bureau for around five years.

Whiteley has worked at Just Mortgages for over four years, holding roles such as regional development director and area director. Prior to that he was area manager at Primis for around a year and independent mortgage broker at Personal Touch mortgages for nearly a year.

Peart joined Just Mortgages in 2020 as an area director. Before that he worked at Countrywide Mortgages as regional finance services sales manager for over a year and also worked at Connells Group in various roles.

Taylor has worked at Just Mortgages since 2010 as an area sales director and before that, spent nearly 19 years at Countrywide Mortgage Services in various roles.

Ferrier has been with Just Mortgages for around four years in roles including regional development director and area director. She previously worked as an area manager at Connells.

The broker said that the appointments “provide the necessary scope for expansion” and allow the self-employed division to expand to over 1,000 advisers.

It added that the appointments in the self-employed advisers would reach 500 advisers this year.

Just Mortgages noted that it also planned to hire a further regional director for the Midlands later this year.

Just Mortgages: ‘A clear statement of intent’

Carl Parker, national director of Just Mortgages said the appointment showed the “continued success of the self-employed division” and the talent found across the business.

He added: “One of our core principles has always been to hire great people and provide them the tools, support and opportunities to develop and reach their full potential. This experienced director line-up certainly exemplifies this and is a clear statement of intent of our ambitious growth plans for the division.

“This team, along with our area directors will be an invaluable resource for our brokers across the country, providing advice and guidance as well as support for new and existing advisers looking to develop their business. We wish all five well in this next stage of their career with Just Mortgages.”
