Twenty7tec has made two appointments to its sales leadership team.

It has hired Adam Newman as the head of sales, who joins from Acre, where he led the sales and account management function for three-and-a-half years.

He has worked in the sub prime unsecured and second charge lending markets, having held business development management roles at the likes of Amigo Loans and Loans.co.uk.

Newman said of his appointment: “I’m excited to join Twenty7tec at such a pivotal moment. I’ve long admired the business for its role in shaping adviser technology, and I look forward to this new chapter.”

Twenty7tec has also appointed Stephen Rhodes as national sales manager, who brings experience in mortgage, protection and fintech.

He was a key relationship manager at Legal & General (L&G) for two years, and has also worked at Tembo Money, Smartr365 and Iress, overseeing commercial growth and adviser engagement.

Rhodes will also bring his previous experience as a mortgage adviser to the role, to focus on technology solutions to improve customer outcomes.

He said: “Technology has never been more central to adviser success. I’m proud to be joining a team that’s leading the way in delivering smarter, faster solutions that truly support advisers and their clients.”

Nathan Reilly, director at Twenty7tec, added: “Adam and Stephen both bring a wealth of experience and proven results. Their appointments will help us accelerate our ambitious sales strategy, build stronger relationships with our clients, and ensure we stay one step ahead in a fast-changing market.

“Twenty7tec is growing fast, and with great people like this on the team, we will continue to cement our position as the leading adviser tech solution out there.”

Last month, the firm reported that buy-to-let (BTL) mortgage searches on its platform reached a record high in March.
