
Chandler’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval, and he brings over 30 years of experience in senior banking, e-commerce, retailer finance and technology roles.
He has been chief executive of digital lender Aion Bank since 2023, and oversaw its sale to UniCredit Group, which was one of the biggest European fintech exits this year.
Chandler has held chief executive roles at Vanquis Bank and Sainsbury’s Bank, and has also worked at Apax, Shop Direct and HBOS.
