Shawbrook appoints regional development manager
Shawbrook has appointed Simon Smith as regional development manger for Scotland and the North of England.

 

Smith has previous experience with Royal Bank of Scotland and has spent several years as a business development manger within the financial services sector.

He has most recently been a business consultant with insurer Vitality.

The lender said Smith will be an important part in building and enhancing its relationships with broker partners in Scotland.

Gavin Seaholme, head of sales at Shawbrook, (pictured) said: “We are very happy to have Simon on board during an exciting time for Shawbrook, as his experience in the financial sector cannot be understated.

“This acquisition has highlighted our growing support for our broker partners in the North and we look forward to seeing how Simon can increase our footprint in Scotland.”

Smith added: “I am looking forward to putting my own stamp on this region and spearheading Shawbrook’s growth in Scotland.”
