GB Bank has updated its bridging refurbishment range, with rates now starting from 0.79% per month.

The range provides funding for light and medium refurbishment products, for borrowers looking to improve, reposition, or enhance properties before sale, refinance, or retention.

It is open to a number of projects, including cosmetic upgrades, such as new kitchens, bathrooms, windows and heating systems. The range also supports more extensive works including loft conversions, small extensions and other value-add improvements that do not require major structural alterations.

GB Bank can now provide funding for up to 100% of refurbishment costs, subject to criteria, alongside flexible staged drawdowns that align funding with project milestones.

It also offers rolled-up interest options to help borrowers reduce monthly cash flow pressures during the refurbishment period.

Asim Shirwani (pictured), head of bridging at GB Bank, said: “The refurbishment market continues to present significant opportunities for investors looking to add value to properties and improve housing stock across the UK. Our bridging refurbishment finance proposition has been designed to give brokers and their clients access to fast, flexible funding that supports both light and medium refurbishment projects.
