TML opens buy-to-let range to entire broker market
The Mortgage Lender has opened up its buy-to-let range to the whole of the broker market.

The move follows a pilot with a panel of 11 intermediary firms.

The Mortgage Lender’s deals will now appear on a full range of sourcing systems.

Peter Beaumont, the firm’s deputy chief executive, noted that its buy-to-let deals have “been flying” since the trial began and said it was now time to open them up to the rest of the market.

He continued: “Brokers like the fact we lend in Scotland, don’t have a minimum earned income and we’ll lend up to £2m. Our arrangement fees are also pretty competitive.”

Last month the firm expanded its sales team from six to ten, though sales and marketing director Pete Thomson left to pursue other opportunities.
