Exclusive: Natwest hires ex-Santander mortgage head Fordham
Natwest has appointed Brad Fordham (pictured), formerly head of mortgages at Santander, as the head of mortgage distribution for One Bank Mortgages (OBM) at Natwest, Mortgage Solutions understands.
Fordham will start in his role at the start of February next year, and will report to Miguel Sard, managing director of OBM.
In his role, he will oversee intermediary and organic mortgages as well as its digital mortgage offering.
It follows the news that Gary Sutherland, director of distribution for One Bank Mortgages (OBM) at Natwest, will be leaving the firm next year, having worked at the bank for over a decade.
Fordham has worked at Santander for around 28 years, taking on the role of head of mortgages in 2020 on an interim basis to take over from Sard. The position was made permanent later that year.
Fordham was part of the lender’s mortgage division when it was created in 2013 and was appointed managing director of Santander for Intermediaries.
