Exclusive: Natwest’s Sutherland to depart
Gary Sutherland, director of distribution for One Bank Mortgages (OBM) at Natwest, will be leaving the firm next year, Mortgage Solutions understands.
Sutherland has been with Natwest for over a decade and in 2015 took on the role of head of mortgage and protection within specialist banking, which covered the firm’s face-to-face mortgage advisory business including RBS England and Wales and its mortgages direct team.
He took on the role of interim managing director for homebuying and ownership between 2019 and 2020 and since 2021 has been the director of distribution for One Bank Mortgages.
The latter includes organic advice, Natwest Intermediary Solutions and the bank’s digital mortgage team.
It is understood that Sutherland is leaving the firm in June and recruitment is underway for his replacement.
