Broker-developed CRM integrates with Ignite and Sourcing Brain
ClientTree, the customer relationship management (CRM) created by mortgage broker Lilla Dilliway, has been integrated into Legal and General’s Ignite and Mortgage Brain’s Sourcing Brain systems.

ClientTree first partnered with Mortgage Brain in November in response to broker requests, then subsequently with Legal and General at the end of December. This partnership gives users of the CRM access to criteria and affordability checks available through the sourcing systems.

Ignite is also free to use, meaning access to the platform will be at no extra cost for advisers.

Following broker feedback, new fields and features have been added to ClientTree such as an insurance section and the ability to confirm whether a life insurance policy is in trust.

Dilliway launched the platform in March last year on a trial basis with the aim of creating a CRM which focused on the financial affairs of a client. On ClientTree, a client profile can be produced which shows all the past and current mortgages and protection policies in their name, as well as details on any vulnerabilities or credit adversities.

It was rolled out to advice firms in the summer.

An evolving CRM

Dilliway (pictured), director of ClientTree, said: “We have come a long way since the first version of the ClientTree system in March 2023. First, we added a collaborative client portal to have an online fact find option with secure document sharing, mortgage tracking and two-way info-updating facility.

“After our official launch in the summer, we completed two mortgage sourcing platform integrations as well as added new features like document generation and new fields like vulnerability based on broker feedback and Consumer Duty requirements.

“With further integrations and features in the pipeline, we are looking forward to helping our users save even more time and admin with ClientTree.”

Neil Wyatt, sales and marketing director at Mortgage Brain, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to collaborate with ClientTree to offer users of their system access to our Sourcing Brain solution, users will be able to benefit from access to over 100 lenders with products updated within what we believe is a market leading 24-hour agreement with lenders who display their products via our systems.”

Kevin Roberts, managing director of Legal and General Mortgage Services, added: “One of the key benefits of Legal and General Ignite – our free to use criteria, affordability, and product sourcing tool – is how easily it can be integrated into third party platforms, making it a valuable tool for all qualified brokers.

“We appreciate that inputting client data into multiple systems is a big burden for brokers, and are committed to helping them to claw valuable time back. We are excited to be supporting ClientTree to bring the benefits of Ignite to more brokers, and look forward to helping the industry more widely to reap the rewards of top tech tools this year.”
