Clienttree CRM introduces e-signatures
Clienttree, the client relationship management (CRM) platform developed by mortgage adviser Lilla Dilliway, has had an e-signature function added to the system.

The change has been made due to feedback from users and will help mortgage brokers get client signatures for documents, including the fact-find summary or suitability letter.

This is expected to remove the need for printing, signing, scanning, emailing or uploading a document. It will also provide a faster journey, Clienttree said.

The CRM system already has a built-in file browser that allows users to share documents with clients through the cloud-based portal. Clienttree said this made both file sharing and e-signing secure.

The portal can also be used on mobile devices, so clients can manage their documents in various ways.

The e-signature feature will work alongside the recently added mailshot function, meaning brokers can send customised and automated emails to clients asking for the e-signature, then can send a notification once this is completed. The broker will also receive an alert along with the signed document and a transaction certificate.

Dilliway (pictured), director of Clienttree, said: “We are delighted to announce this latest addition to the Clienttree system and make e-signatures available to brokers and their clients for free.

“This feature aids the online mortgage and insurance journey to make transactions easier, quicker and more user-friendly in a secure and compliant way.”

Clienttree launched to market last year with a proposition that would focus on clients and their financial services history, rather than the products sold to them.

The system gives users an overview of all the financial products a client has currently and has had in the past. It also shows any financial commitments they may have jointly with other people.

Earlier this year, Clienttree was integrated into the Ignite and Sourcing Brain platforms.
